The WVJC Medical Assisting Program
is designed to prepare students for positions in various medical
settings. Students are trained to assist physicians and other
health-care professionals in the examination and treatment of patients
in doctors’ offices and hospitals. They are also prepared for medical
office administration careers.
*The MA
program at WVJC is approved by the American Registry of Medical
Assistants (ARMA). Upon successful completion of the program, students
are encouraged to register with the ARMA.
